Harvesttown Coffee grew from a simple dream of both Juliana Becerra and David Mafla. We are two Colombians who grew up in Apia, a town located in the region of Risaralda, Colombia, surrounded by a vast history and tradition of coffee growing.

However, we recently moved to Australia where we found our home away from home! After a few years of exploring our new country and discovering the incredible culture down under, we saw an opportunity to connect our deep Colombian roots and knowledge of Colombian coffee with the Australian market who appreciates the value of a great cup of coffee.

We had a chance to make our dream come true! As a result, we decided to create Harvesttown Coffee: a chance to import coffee directly from the farmers of Colombia, mainly from the Risaralda region and distribute world-class coffee across the globe to local coffee roasters.

For us, Harvesttown Coffee has always been about growing; first and foremost, the growing process from seed to cup. Starting with seedtime, we transition to
harvesting and eventually the logistical process of importing and distribution. Every single step impacts the livelihood of our coffee farmers, and of course,
expanding the Australian coffee industry through 100% sustainably sourced
product.

Above all, the idea of growth motivates us to continuously focus on the well-being and stability of all aspects of our business. Specifically, for our community in
Colombia, composed of coffee farmers, as well as our community in Australia that has received us with such open arms and welcomed our business that aims to make an impact.
